Practical Details

Directions

The conference will be held at the Biozentrum of the University of Basel. The building is located at Spitalstrasse 41 and close to the city centre. It is easily accessible by public transport or foot.

How to get there

• From the airport: There is no trainstation at the airport. Take the bus line no. 50 to Kannenfeldplatz and change to the bus line no. 36 or no. 38 up to Metzerstrasse.
• From the Basel main Train station (Basel SBB): Take the bus line no. 30 up to Kinderspital UKBB and just turn left in direction of travel.
• Form the Basel Badischer Bahnhof: Take the bus line no. 30 up to Kinderspital UKBB and just turn right in direction of travel.
• From your accommodation in Novotel and Ibis Budget City Centre: Take the tram line no. 11 from the Station Peter Merian to Johanniterbrücke. From there take a walk for about 2 minutes: Walk left in direction of travel along Schanzenstrasse and then take the first turn right into Spitalstrasse.

All participants are free to choose their preferred accommodation in Basel. A selection of hotels can be found on the booking platforms of your choice or on the following website: https://www.basel.com/en/hotels-accommodation

You should be aware that accommodation in Basel is pricey. Therefore, we set up a special arrangement with Novotel Basel City and Ibis Budget Basel City close to the main railway station and the city centre. We recommend all participants book their accommodation at this hotel.
